ตัวอย่างนี้เป็นการ setup dns สำหรับแปลงชื่อ เป็น ip บน ubuntu server 8.04
dns loxinfo : 203.146.237.237
dns true : 203.144.255.71 203.144.255.72
dns server มีเยอะมากลองหาใน google เอา
ให้ทำการแก้ไข file : /etc/resolv.conf
root@hotspot:/home/rawin# vim /etc/resolv.conf <--- vim command เพื่อแก้ไข file /etc/resolv.conf
กด i เพื่อทำการแก้ไข
nameserver 203.146.237.237 <---- เพิ่มบรรทัดนี้เข้าไป
หลังจากแก้ไขเสร็จ กด Esc ---> กด : ---> พิมพ์ wq ---> enter
ขั้นตอนสุดท้ายทำการ restart network service ด้วยคำสั่ง /etc/init.d/networking restart
